Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lyriq Studio ("the Platform"), operated by Lyriq Labs, Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms, do not access or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with notice provided via email or in-app notification.

Lyriq Studio is an AI-powered creative platform that provides lyric generation, songwriting assistance, vocal direction, music composition tools, and related creative services. The Platform uses advanced artificial intelligence models to assist creators.

Services are provided "as-is" and are subject to change. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

• You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share accounts or transfer access to third parties.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• Free Plan: Limited daily usage with watermarked exports and non-commercial rights only.
• Lyriq Plus ($9.99/mo): 250 monthly sessions, full tool access, commercial rights included.
• Lyriq Pro ($24.99/mo): Unlimited generations, all AI models, A&R tools, full commercial rights.
• Lyriq Black™ ($79/mo): Invitation-only. Maximum processing priority, private AI models.

Auto-Renewal: All paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period. Cancel anytime before renewal to avoid charges.

Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed via Stripe. We do not store card details on our servers.

Price Changes: We will provide 30 days notice before increasing subscription prices for existing subscribers.

Lyriq Studio uses artificial intelligence to generate creative content including lyrics, song structures, and vocal direction. By using these features you acknowledge:

• AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be original, unique, or free from copyright concerns.
• The AI may produce content similar to existing works unintentionally.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing generated content before commercial use.
• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional legal or music industry advice.
• Lyriq Labs, Inc. does not guarantee the commercial viability of generated content.

Commercial rights for generated content are governed by your subscription tier. Free plan users may not use generated content for commercial purposes, monetization, or distribution.

Your Content: You retain ownership of lyrics and songs you create using the Platform, subject to the terms of your subscription plan. You grant Lyriq Labs, Inc. a limited, non-exclusive license to process and display your content to provide the service.

Our IP: All Platform software, designs, logos, AI models, prompts, and infrastructure are owned by Lyriq Labs, Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Platform, you grant us an irrevocable right to use such feedback without compensation.

You may NOT use Lyriq Studio to:

• Generate content that promotes hate speech, racism, violence, or discrimination
• Create content involving minors in inappropriate contexts
• Produce spam, scam content, or misleading information
• Infringe on existing copyrights or trademarks
• Clone, replicate, or impersonate another artist's voice or identity
• Circumvent the Platform's security measures or usage limits
• Use the Platform for illegal activities of any kind
• Resell or redistribute Platform output as an API service without authorization
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Platform staff

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

Lyriq Studio's Artist Inspiration Mode is designed to help users channel stylistic elements — not to impersonate, clone, or misrepresent any living or deceased artist.

• You may NOT claim that generated content was actually written by any named artist.
• You may NOT use generated content to defame, mislead, or deceive listeners about an artist's actual work.
• You may NOT use AI voice cloning features (where available) to create unauthorized content in an artist's voice.
• You are responsible for clearly disclosing AI involvement in any publicly released content.
• Lyriq Labs, Inc. reserves the right to restrict artist access upon receipt of valid artist complaints.

Lyriq Labs, Inc. respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to:

Your notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work, location of infringing content, your contact information, and a good-faith statement of infringement.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform is immediately revoked
• Subscription payments are non-refundable after the 7-day refund window
• Stored content may be deleted after 30 days

You may terminate your account at any time from your Profile settings.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LYRIQ LABS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's rules, not in court. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

Arbitration shall be conducted in English, in the State of Delaware, USA.

• Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase if fewer than 10 generations have been used.
• Annual plan refunds are prorated for unused months within the first 30 days.
• No refunds for violations-based account terminations.
• Refund requests must be submitted to billing@lyriqstudio.ai.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
